Juliette has to make a choice: Be a weapon. Maybe she’s exactly what they need right now. Maybe Juliette is more than a tortured soul stuffed into a poisonous body. Now so many people are dead that the survivors are whispering war – and The Reestablishment has changed its mind. The Reestablishment said their way was the only way to fix things, so they threw Juliette in a cell. Diseases are destroying the population, food is hard to find, birds don’t fly anymore, and the clouds are the wrong color. The world is too busy crumbling to pieces to pay attention to a 17-year-old girl. As long as she doesn’t hurt anyone else, no one really cares. No one knows why Juliette’s touch is fatal. The last time she did, it was an accident, but The Reestablishment locked her up for murder. Juliette hasn’t touched anyone in exactly 264 days. I would rate this series a 7/10 stars, not my favorite series but not my least favorite either (Maze Runner) anyway, here's the synopsis for Shatter Me. But I heard they got better throughout the books so I bought Destroy Me, read that, then I bought Unravel Me and started getting more interested in these book. I was considering not continuing this series because of how much I disliked Shatter Me, actually. I really didn't like Shatter Me, honestly, it was pretty boring and there was nothing in there that got me attached to the books and it wash' really funny, and I love the books with humor in them. ![]() It's a pretty good series, my favorite book would definitely be Ignite Me because these books get better as they continue on.
